Swatches: Too Faced Totally Cute palette

Hi there!

We just recently relocated to the Portland, Oregon area, so I haven't had much time to wear or play with makeup (especially since I'm unemployed for the moment). Hence, the lack of updates. I did, however, want to share this.

I wasn't going to get this palette originally - it IS totally cute, and those six small shades are right up my alley, but I wasn't sure if I wanted it enough, considering the three large shades that basically look the same to me. But once I swatched it in-store, I knew I had to have it.

First of all, the palette comes with a plain case that you can decorate with the included stickers:

So cute, right??

And then the shadows themselves are really smooth and buttery:

Yes, I swatched in columns, even though the shades are grouped in rows. *eyerolling at myself*

The larger light-neutrals, which looked so similar in the pan, actually swatched quite differently, and this was what tipped the scales in favor of me buying it. There's a matte vanilla shade, a shimmery light gold, and an iridescent white (I wish my photo better captured the sheen of Unicorn).

Can you tell this is my favorite column? 'Nuff said.

The dark row consists of a matte chocolate brown, a brown/teal duochrome, and a blackened plum.

Again, all very pigmented and blendable, and versatile enough for a wide combination of looks.
