BoxyCharm October box

It's November, and I just realized that I never posted the contents of my October BoxyCharm!

I'm not sure exactly how everything fits the "Faces of the Moon" theme, aside from the black packaging, but *shrug* whatever floats your boat, BoxyCharm.

First up:

This Palmetto Derma Rejuvenating Antioxidant Mask. I haven't had a chance to try it yet. It's valued at $64? So this one item alone is worth way more than the price of the entire box.

Then this:

Bellapierre Cheek and Lip stain in Coral. Not too bad. I tried it out on both my lips and cheeks, and while it showed up nicely on my cheeks, it was a bit too pale/sheer for my lips, which have a lot of natural pigment. But it was definitely better than other similar products I've tried, in terms of pigmentation:

I also got a Lord & Berry black eye pencil:

It was definitely soft and rich, but when I wore it, it definitely had a tendency to migrate and smudge on other parts of my eye.

I also got a Doucce Punk Volumizing Mascara:

I don't have a photo from when I tested it, but it's... okay. I've used better, and I've definitely used worse. *Edited* I take it back. After using it several more times, I like it - on the plus side, it's dramatic. On the down side, slightly smudgy at the end of the day.

And lastly, CULT Nail Polish in Boneyards:

It's a deep gray cream, and it's exactly up my alley. I tried it out on one nail, just to see the pigmentation, and it was pretty good (but I didn't get a photo).

Sorry, I know this wasn't the most informative post, but at least you've gotten to see what BoxyCharm sent out this month. Overall, I was pleased with the box and the type of products I got, even if I didn't particularly love a couple of them.

Can't wait to see next month's! I love these monthly box things.
