September BoxyCharm - Runway Ready
What'd I get this time? Let's take a closer look:
A Vasanti flat foundation brush, which looks great, but I don't use a foundation brush anyway, so?
Chella eyebrow gel, which I've received before in another box, and was really glad to have:
Previse Hydromilk moisturizer, which I haven't had a chance to try yet:
Tarte Smolder'EYES pencil in Gold:
Scratch nail wraps:
And Kardashian Beauty Black Seed oil as a bonus item I probably won't end up using it, because I don't need to add more oil to my generally-oily hair.
Horror of horrors, the Tarte pencil I received was a total dud, but BoxyCharm replied to my email saying that they'd include a replacement with my next box, so it's all good.
I still have yet to try some of these. I've applied the nail wraps, obviously, and while they were beautiful, they didn't last very long on me. It was interesting to note that they still felt like stickers even after they'd been on a few days - when I've used other brands, after a while, they felt like just nail polish (and were hard to scrub off). These nail wraps always felt like I was wearing stickers, and when I finally removed them, they left a sticky adhesive residue on my nails.
I'm so-so on this month's box, but I'm eager to see what they have in store for next month.
