Swatches: ColourPop's Forget the Fruit Cake lippie set

So, previously I've swatched/reviewed the hyper glossy lippies from ColourPop cosmetics' Forget the Fruit Cake lippie set. Today I have the other four lippies from that same set, which are all mattes.

So, they all look great on my arm:

From left to right: Cookie, Cheers, Lady, and Tutu

Here they are on my face:

Cookie is a "true nude beige." As you can see, it's quite pale on me. I think I would like this with a deeper nude liner (which I'm sure I have a ton of).

Cheers is a "deep raspberry." Definitely a great holiday color :). I feel like this one had a bit of a sheen to it, rather than being truly matte. It left behind a nice stain when I tried to remove it.

Lady is a "cool-toned dirty burgundy." This one was definitely matte - as you can see, it really settled into my lip lines - and it was a little on the brown side. I think this would be a great everyday deep shade - some deep shades are a little on the dramatic side for wearing to work, but this would be a good one.

Tutu is a "blackened red violet." It's really similar to ColourPop's LBB, although this berry/wine shade is pretty common anyway. It also left a nice stain. I thought it was a little patchy in its application, but this was the fourth lipstick I'd tried on in a row, so maybe it was just my lips getting annoyed with me. It's a beautiful, rich color.

So yeah... overall, the set was a pretty good deal. The quality of all six lippies was really good, even if I didn't love all the colors on me, but considering the price, it wasn't a huge tragedy.

As of the date of this blog post, the link to the set says "Temporarily sold out." I don't know if that means that they will restock it in the future, or if it really was just a limited edition holiday set, but just in case they re-release it or any of its shades individually, I'm hoping these swatches may prove helpful to someone.
